Cheap designer handbags, how do I love thee. Let me count the ways. I'm a sucker for them, is what I'm saying. I enjoy high fashion without the high price tags. And I've found that I can get anything I want if I just look hard enough. Some people are into shoes, I'm into purses. I think it is an extension of whatever outfit that I happen to be wearing. It's not just something to carry my stuff in. It's the completion of the look. Since I have many looks, I have many bags to accessorize with as well.

Some of my friends think that my obsession with cheap designer handbags is ridiculous. They can't be bothered with it themselves. For them, a purse is just something to carry their car keys in, and not part of the outfit. Most of them don't go out with something that doesn't match at all. But what they do is they just have one, black bag that they always bring with them. They tell me that black matches anything so it's all right. No, it's not all right! What you're carrying rests right at your midsection. It's the first thing that people will notice. You can't claim to have put an outfit together if you cop out on which cheap designer handbags you carry.
Granted, I'm a little extreme on the matter. A lot of people think that it's because I had a privileged childhood and grew up with a silver spoon in my mouth. I tell them that if that was the case I probably wouldn't care about cheap designer handbags at all. Price wouldn't matter to me. The truth is that I could never afford any of that. My parents didn't have a lot of money to give me. I had no allowance. If I wanted anything, I had to go out and work for it. Name a fast food restaurant and I've probably applied to it or been behind the counter serving up the burgers. It wasn't until I finished high school, then got my Associate's Degree at college and went out to get a job with some potential that I could even consider luxuries like cheap designer handbags. The way I look at things is that now I can, so I'm going to. And it's because I never had it before that I'm so into it now. I've had enough expendable income to feed my addiction for over two years now, but it still feels like it's a new thing to me.
Will I ever grow out of what I like? Who knows what will happen or what anyone's priorities will be in five years or ten years time. I'll probably be all settled down by then and have other things to worry about. But for right now, I just like to have fun with all the different cheap designer handbags that I can get my hands on. The friends who think I'm silly for it have strange hobbies of their own, I'm sure.
